a lack of projects, but not inspiration

hellooooooooo! i have been creating on and off the past few weeks, in the few spare moments i have that is. here are a few things i have put together:

during the summer, my roommates had this habit of picking up framed artwork off the side of the road. sounds weird, i know! as we began decorating for christmas, i decided to re-ivent one of the not, so cute ones. it was very simple and very fast, but it adds a little something to the room!

making home made cards is one of my passions, and i really strive to inspire others to do the same. they can be really simple–and still be lovely (not to mention affordable!). this is a 2 year anniversary card. all you need is some cardstock, a printed photo, printed masking tape, and stamps!

for that same boyfriend, i sent a mini christmas tree with a bunch of messages on paper attached as ornaments. he gets to open one everyday until he comes back. i thought it was a fun thing to do…and then a few days later, my little sister sent me one of my own! her messages are even better than mine! i’m one lucky sister:)

I saw this verse on pinterest a while back, and i thought it spoke far too well about a dear friend of mine, so i made this little block for her. she loves the verse, and i just love giving random gifts.

address labels

A few weeks ago I made some personalized address labels. I drew a little cartoon of me and my two roommates, and added a little message on the bottom “my newest home until may 2011″. This message is important since i am in a phase in my life, when nothing is cemented. I have moved so many places in the last few years, i just thought it would be helpful for friends and family if I clarified that I won’t be here forever!

Easy to make! You should do it too!

roomie photoshoot

a few hours ago, i had a lovely little photoshoot with some lovely friends and neighbors. and despite all the errands i wanted to run today, i just HAD to post a little preview! SO FUN! here it goes, happy weekend!
